Open Day

We are delighted to announce details of this year’s Big Summer Open Day to be held on Sunday 20th August at the sanctuary in Compton. Gates will open at 12 noon on the day and adults and children of all ages are welcome. The day includes three guided tours of our horses at 1pm, 2.30pm and 4pm where you can meet and learn about our very special healing herd of 31 horses. We are also thrilled that well known and well loved journalist and TV presenter, Eamonn Holmes, will be opening our new pond at 12.30, so if you would like to meet him, make sure that you get there on time!

There will be entertainment throughout the afternoon along with a wide and varied selection of stalls including pre-loved equine rugs and tack, home grown produce, jewellery and much much more. There will also be activities for the children and, of course, refreshments including our now infamous BBQ. Boxa, the live two piece band will be performing for everyone and Jack and his chainsaw will be there again!!!

On the day family tickets (up to 2 adults and 2 children) are just £15 with adults £6, OAP’s and children just £5. For those who purchase tickets in advance, the family tickets are just £12.50, Adults are £5 and OAP’s and Children just £4. Tickets can be purchased by emailing your requirements to tickets@manechancesanctuary.org. Discounts are also available for larger groups, so you can email your request.

Don’t miss out on this hugely popular event where Jenny Seagrove and the team will be on hand to welcome you. Plus you will have the wonderful opportunity to meet our beautiful horses whilst supporting the charity and our work within the local community with additional needs and disadvantaged visitors.
