The winter nights are starting to draw in which inevitably means that the Christmas season is well and truly on it’s way!
We are thrilled that our carol evening will be back again this year on Sunday 5th December at St Peter and St Paul’s Church in Godalming. Starting at 5pm, it is a wonderful combination of readings, carols and songs and we have a host of celebrity friends performing for us.
Jenny Seagrove will be joined by our wonderful patrons, author Lauren St.John and singer, Beau Dermott. Actors Sue Holderness (Marlene in 'Only Fools and Horses') and Robert Daws will also be reading, Damien Edwards will be singing, and we have the Junior Choir of St Hilary’s School supporting us too.
But the stars of the show are always our Shetland Ponies – a few of whom will act as meet and greet outside the church before the event begins, but two will start the event itself by walking up the aisle!
This evening is always a truly lovely start to the festive season and enjoyable for all the family. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for seniors (over 60) and children (aged 5-15) – under 5s go free.
