Tilly

Year of birth 2002
Height 14.2 hh
Date arrived at Mane Chance 2011
Gender Mare
Description in one word Flirtatious
Equine best friend: Diamond

Tilly had been used as a trotting horse and had broken down from being pushed too hard. She was then deemed useless and had a very uncertain future when she was originally rescued. She was a part of the original herd that Jenny took on when Mane Chance was formed and so has been with us since the very beginning.  She is a delicate looking horse with thin, dainty legs but that masks a very determined character.  Tilly is a hugely flirtatious mare and likes to tease the males in the herd at every available moment, but she has also formed a really lovely relationship with Diamond, the ex-dressage mare.  Often they are seen wandering together, obviously catching up on all the news of the boys!  Tilly is the dominant mare in the herd and enjoys that role - her pal Diamond has a strong character but Tilly knows how to kindly keep her in her place and make sure she doesn’t get too big for her boots!
