Description in one word Mischievous
Equine best friend: Berry

Timmy came to us as one of the original herd that Jenny took on when Mane Chance was founded.  He has always been and continues to be one of the biggest and naughtiest characters on site.  He has often confounded us by escaping from one part of the site to another in the quest for a mouthful of better grass, but he manages to do it without showing any signs of how he got there - no damaged fences or posts.  Cheeky boy!  Timmy is a bit of a loner in that he doesn't rely hugely on any of the other horses for company, but if and when he does want to be near the others, he would usually head to one of the other males - he has a lack of interest and patience with the girls and their sometimes fickle ways!  Timmy suffers from Equine Metabolic Syndrome which is a little like diabetes - we have to closely monitor his diet and restrict the sugary grass he has at certain times of the year.  To ensure he can still live outside when he needs to be restricted, we have created an area of the site especially for him which has been stripped of grass but where we can feed him a lower sugar supplement instead - and we have very good electric fencing in that area to thwart his escaping tendencies of course!  He's definitely worth all the extra effort though - Timmy is such a lovely horse.
