Description in one word Enthusiastic
Equine best friend: Soldier

Tinker was one of three foals that were abandoned with no food or water in a field that opened onto the A3.  They were so poorly when we picked them up that they would quite probably have collapsed and died within a week.  They were in a terrible state of starvation and dehydration and we had to work slowly with them to get their bodies back to health.  But over the following days and weeks, slowly they recovered with Tinker being the strongest of the three.  Since that time, Tinker’s life has been carefree and we have watched him grow into an amazing horse – big and chunky, but amazing!  The three were almost immediately adopted by our family group of horses and they remain a close knit group that live together, play together and support each other.  Tinker is a little bit of a clown and somewhat clumsy also – he can sometimes find himself getting into scrapes with the other horses but it is all in fun!  He is terribly friendly and loves a fuss or a scratch and likes to nuzzle back. Sometimes he needs to be reminded of his manners as he is so eager to please that he can get a bit pushy, but that’s all part of growing up - he is learning and we have all the patience in the world to teach him!
