Pudding came to Mane Chance in 2011 when the Sanctuary was first formed. A couple of years later, we were approached by a lady who was looking for a companion for her own horse. Pudding is a gentle soul and we knew that she would be a wonderful friend to another mare so she went to her new home, where some other horses (belonging to other people) later joined them. At the beginning of 2020, Pudding came back to us as her loan owner became very ill and was no longer able to care for her. As her original mare had passed away and because of our lifetime promise to Pudding, we knew it was the right time to bring her back and we welcomed her with open arms. She is settled back within our herd, forming new friendships that she can have forever. We were so pleased that she had such a happy time away from us, but we are also very glad to see her back in our fields!
